Cookbook-Inspired Meal at db Bistro Moderne: In honor of his new cookbook, Daniel: My French Cuisine, chef Daniel Boulud will be hosting a lunch and signing copies of his book on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 11:30 a.m. at db Bistro Moderne. Diners will have the chance to sample recipes from the book—such as mushroom tarte flambée and tart Normande—at a four-course lunch following the signing. Play Golf with Chef José Andrés: Practice your golf swing on Friday, Feb. 21 with chef José Andrés as he hosts a golf tournament with fellow celebrity chefs. The event, part of the 2014 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival, will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the championship Soffer Course at Turnberry Isle Miami. Not only will foursomes be matched up with a chef, winemaker, or spirit producer, players will also be in for a culinary treat with food and drinks at every hole. Robert Irvine Cooks at Tongue & Cheek: Celebrity chef Robert Irvine, of Food Network’s Restaurant: Impossible, is stepping into the kitchen with Tongue & Cheek chef Jamie DeRosa on Friday, Feb. 21 at noon for the eatery’s latest edition of Kitchen Collab. Diners will have the chance to meet Irvine and other Food Network stars, and will receive a signed copy of his cookbook, Impossible to Easy, at the three-course lunch ($75). The duo will create a varied menu with dishes like Turks and Caicos conch salad, Key West pink shrimp and grits, a Cuban sandwich, a beef cheek burger, and a Cracker Jack milkshake and Almond Joy bar. Florida Cookery Partners with Paradise Farms: During the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, The James Royal Palm’s locally fueled Florida Cookery is teaming up with Miami’s organic Paradise Farms to offer a four-course prix fixe ($75). Executive chef Billy Boyle has incorporated ingredients from the farm into dishes on three different menus, available from Thursday, Feb. 20 through Sunday, Feb. 22.
