Radio Bar’s recently updated menu includes classic cocktail creations like this nutmeg-topped Foreign Exchange.
Speakeasy Thanksgiving Eve at Rose Bar: It’s the night before a long holiday weekend, so what better way to ring in Thanksgiving than with an evening at Delano’s Rose Bar? This week's edition of Whiskey Wednesdays (Nov. 27, starting at 9 p.m.) will transform into a Thanksgiving-themed speakeasy (password-only, of course) with music by Lolo, small bites, craft brews, and Moonshine cocktails whipped up by head bartender Bernie Waters. Be sure to sample one of the Pumpkin King cocktails. 1685 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; email biancarsvp@lightmia.com
Radio Bar’s Revitalized Menu: Radio Bar’s new beverage director, Alex Renshaw, has stepped in to add a classic, cocktail-driven menu to the intimate SoFi watering hole, which started as a pop-up. Renshaw’s cocktails usually stick to six ingredients or less, but they definitely don’t skimp on flavor. We suggest the Foreign Exchange, a blend of Beefeater gin, Cynar, Demerara syrup, orange bitters, lemon and nutmeg. 814 1st St., Miami Beach, 305-397-8382
Thanksgiving at The Setai: Start off Thanksgiving with The Setai's jazz brunch ($95 per adult), complete with flamenco jazz music and traditional Thanksgiving fare, along with a few Mediterranean specialties. The South Beach hot spot is also offering an elaborate four-course prix-fixe ($95 per adult) on Thursday, Nov. 28 at either The Restaurant or The Setai Grill. Menu options range from Maine lobster ravioli and pumpkin velouté soup topped with shaved Parmesan and truffle oil, to roasted turkey legs with sausage, chestnut, mortadella, and all the fixings. 2001 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305-520-6400
Bellmónt Opens in Coral Gables: For a caffeine or carb fix, stop by Coral Gables’ new Bellmónt Bakery & Restaurant. The Spanish eatery serves coffee and light bites reminiscent of Europe—Nespresso coffee, mini croissants and baguettes topped with ibérico ham, and homemade bread baked on a traditional Pereruela-style oven. 339 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, 786-502-4684
