A childhood friend nicknamed him after the dinosaur (Diplodocus), and a star was born. Diplo was raised in Plantation by parents who listened to Christian music and planted the seed for a career full of hits and hope; his carefree lifestyle and confidence are by-products of hard work, talent and a knack for not taking himself so seriously. He’s collaborated with artists such as M.I.A. (whom he also dated) and will perform in Miami at the Bayfront Park Amphitheater on March 12.
