National Burger Month at Michael Mina 74

May is National Burger Month, and Michael Mina 74 at the Fontainebleau is celebrating the food holiday with a weekly lineup of craft burgers and beer specials. This week, the burger on tap is the Coast to Coast—Miami meets California—a chorizo patty topped with avocado, bacon, a sunny side up egg, and fried potatoes. Cinco de Mayo Block Party at Bodega Taqueria y Tequila

Bodega is taking Cinco de Mayo to the streets. Swing by any time today from noon-5 am for a neighborhood block party complete with a mariachi band and maracas, food and drink specials during the day, and complimentary churros come nightfall. Mother's Day Brunch at Matador Terrace

Just in time for Mother's Day, Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten's Matador Room at The Miami Beach Edition will launch brunch on the Matador Terrace. Come Sunday at 11 am, bring Mom along to stake out this new alfresco brunch spot with a Mexican-inspired menu of breakfast faves like huevos rancheros and poached eggs, crunchy Mexican-spiced French toast, and crispy BBQ pork tacos. 2901 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 786-257-4600

Spanish-Style Mother's Day Brunch at The Bazaar

The Bazaar by José Andrés isn't a brunch destination, but the SLS South Beach eatery will open its doors earlier than usual to offer a special Mother's Day brunch menu on Sunday, May 10 from 11 am-3 pm. Scour a selection of Spanish cured meats, cheeses, caviar, and pastries at the buffet and order a main dish off the menu, which blends South America and Miami in true Andrés style.
