SOHO Bay Debuts on Miami Beach Waterfront

Miami's newest Brazilian import is not exactly what you'd expect—a modern Japanese eatery hailing from Bahia. The first SOHO Bay outside of Brazil opens its doors on Tuesday with a menu of Brazil-influenced Japanese fare such as the Lion Fish Rio dish—lion fish, pressed pickled cucumber, Fresno pepper, and cucumber caipirinha air—as well as sushi rolls, ceviche, tempura, and robata. Not only do diners get picturesque views of the bay, they also have the option to arrive by boat via the eatery's private dock. 520 West Ave., Miami Beach, 786-618-2788

Paradise Farms Prix-Fixe Menu at Verde

The theme at Verde at PAMM is local, and it's going all out for Earth Month. The restaurant teamed up with Homestead's Paradise Farms to offer a special prix-fixe menu every Thursday in April. Whipped up by new executive chef Kaytlin Brakefield, each dish features a fresh, seasonal ingredient from Paradise Farms—like the squash blossom fritters with house-made ricotta and honey; kale caesar salad with tomato, pancetta, and rye crouton; and buttermilk panna cotta with passion fruit-pineapple compote.
